About myself : I am an incoming freshman and McKenna Merit Scholar at Claremont McKenna College interested in studying economics, political science, and data science. During high school, I was actively involved in Speech & Debate and DECA (business), serving as President of both clubs. Additionally, I served as a Research Intern at Stanford's Political Science Department, analyzing militant group data, and worked with a criminal justice organization to provide low-income, incarcerated individuals with legal help. Academically, I was a high-achieving student, scoring a 1560 on the SAT and maintaining a 3.97 unweighted GPA, earning straight As my sophomore, junior, and senior years. My academics and extracurriculars earned me admissions to top schools such as UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC (merit scholar), NYU Stern, Boston University, George Washington University (merit scholar) and more. As a student who has experienced the college application process, I can help seniors create a college list, form ideas for and write essays, and give other college application advice. For younger students, I can provide advice on extracurriculars to partake in, SAT tips and tricks, advice on classes, and more.
